September 23 the Imeretinsky district of Sochi resort hosted for the second time the IRONSTAR international triathlon competition. It was held on the legendary ‘iron’ track that includes 3.86 kilometers of swimming, 180 kilometers of cycling and 42.195 kilometers of running.

Ivan Kharin, the prizewinner of the Ironman World Championship held in Hawaii, is to start at the "iron" distance on September 23. Ivan told IRONSTAR what caused the break in his performances after the success at the IRONMAN Hawaii 2016 and what plans he had for the race in Sochi.

On August 26, Kazan hosted the international competition IRONSTAR triathlon SPRINT & 113 KAZAN 2017. This year the competition gathered about 1,500 fans of the triathlon not only from Russia and the neighboring countries, but also from France, Austria, Sweden, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates. Numerous fans supported the participants throughout the race.

More than 250 people from different cities of Russia and neighboring countries took part in the Cup of Russia on triathlon IRONSTAR OLYMPIC TRIATHLON KIROV on July 15, 2017.

On June 3 IRONSTAR SPRINT & 113 SOCHI 2017 - the first triathlon competition of the 2017 season - started in the Imeretinsky Resort District of Sochi. The competition brought together over 1,000 athletes representing 15 countries, including not only Russia, the Baltic and CIS states, but also Finland, Germany, France, Spain, India, Turkey, Costa Rica and the UAE.
