ABOUT THE START
SWIMSTAR is a popular series of open water swims as part of the IRONSTAR Sports Festival. The competition is open to amateur swimmers as well as those who choose to challenge themselves.
SWIMSTAR swims will diversify your training and help you to get new bright impressions. After short and boring stretches in the pool, you will gain perspective, a sense of adventure before a difficult distance and joy after overcoming it
If you are an experienced swimmer or if you were a youth swimmer at a sports school, SWIMSTAR swims will bring back the competitive spirit and excitement into your life. Participate in IRONSTAR competitions and get rating points for each race. More information on the ALL STARS ranking page.
About the Swimming Stage
The swimming stage will take place in the Krylatskoe Rowing Canal.
Fans will be able to watch you throughout the entire course — the water area is perfectly visible fr om the shore.
TIME LIM IT
2 hour 15 minutes
AGE GROUPS:
men, women 16 — 29 years
men, women 30 — 39 years
men, women 40 — 49 years
men, women 50 — 59 years
men, women 60 years and older.
AWARDS:
At the end of the competition the winners and prize-winners in absolute and age groups (men and women) will be awarded.
DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS
ORIGINALS of the following documents are required for admission to the start and receipt of the start package:

ID card.

Medical certificate on admission to competitions (more information about the requirements for the certificate and a sample)

Life and health insurance contract against accidents with included risks “swimming” and coverage of at least 350 000 rubles (insurance policy can be purchased in the personal cabinet)

Power of attorney, if the participant entrusted a third person to pick up his/her start package
-
Parental permission for a participant under 18 years old (print out a sample and fill out the permission in advance to get the start package faster)
WETSUITS

Wetsuits are allowed in water temperatures up to 24.6 degrees.

The thickness of the wetsuit must not exceed 5 mm. If a wetsuit consists of two items, the total thickness of the overlapping items must not exceed the 5mm thickness limit.

Any means of propulsion that may give an advantage to an athlete or pose a danger to other athletes is prohibited.

The outer part of the wetsuits must conform to the athlete's body while swimming.

The wetsuit may cover any part of the athlete's body except the face, hands and feet.

There are no restrictions on the length of the zipper.
-
Topless wetsuits and wetshorts are permitted.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE OF SLOT:
Refunds are made to the internal balance of my personal cabinet in the amount of 75% of the cost of the slot. You cannot withdraw money from your personal cabinet. Funds from the internal balance can be used to purchase any slot on the site www.iron-star.com
Transfer of a slot to a third party is possible through myAlpari. More details in the FAQ section “Registration/Exchange.Refund”
The exchange, refund and slot transfer are closed simultaneously with the closing of registration — 16 days before the start.
