DOCUMENTS FOR ADMISSION TO THE LAUNCH IN 2025-2026
All about certificates, insurance, and other documents required for participation in IRONSTAR competitions.
To be admitted to the IRONSTAR competitions, each participant must present the ORIGINALS of the following documents:
Medical certificate (according to the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 1144n dated 10/23/2020), which contains:
the seal of the medical institution, the signature and seal of the doctor, the date of issue, the full name of the participant;
the health group;
the conclusion that the participant is allowed to compete in triathlons at a distance not less than the one he is going to overcome (the distance must be indicated, for example: Olympic — 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling, 10 km running; it is enough for the relay team participant to indicate the distance of the stage that he overcomes), the date of issue (the validity period of the specified conclusion depends on the frequency of medical examinations, but may not exceed 1 year). The certificate must be issued in advance and independently. There are no registration services for competitions!
Upon receipt of the starter package, you can give a copy of the certificate, but you must have the original with you to show to the organizers.
2. Medical insurance
A participant competing in a triathlon individually or in a relay team must have medical insurance with triathlon risks included with a minimum coverage of 1 million rubles or a valid FTR license.
A participant without Russian citizenship must have a national license and medical insurance, including triathlon risks (operating in the territory of the Russian Federation), with coverage of at least 1 million rubles.

Log in to your personal account on the IRONSTAR website
When registering for the start, select the "Sports Insurance" service
If you are already registered, go to the "My competitions" section, select start and add the "Sports Insurance" service

4. Parental permission for minor participants
Print out the sample and fill out the permit in advance to receive the starter package faster.
5. Power of Attorney
A power of attorney, if the participant has instructed a third party to pick up his starter package. The recipient must have in hand a complete package of documents for admission to the start.
A power of attorney can be issued in two ways:
1. Electronic power of attorney
In your personal account, check the box "Issue by proxy" and fill in the recipient's details. Upon presentation of the documents at the reception desk, the recipient will say that he has an electronic power of attorney.
2. Paper power of attorney
Print out and fill in the sample. The recipient will present the power of attorney at the reception along with other documents.
Relay team members receive a starter package together. Or one of the team representatives receives it if there is a handwritten power of attorney from the other participants and a full package of their documents (original and a copy of the certificate, a copy of the passport, insurance).
We remind you that all registration operations can be performed no later than 16 days before the start of the competition, namely:
— Transfer of the slot to a third party;
— Distance replacement;
— Withdrawal from participation (funds are refunded to the internal balance of the personal account in the amount of 75% of the slot price. You cannot withdraw money from your personal account. Funds from the internal balance can be used to purchase any slot on the website.
