Frosts are never a hindrance to a triathlete! IRONSTAR events continue during the off-season. From December to April we will be running different competitions in the indoor-triathlon format at City of Capitals World Class, one of the best fitness-clubs of Moscow.

IRONSTAR & WORLD CLASS INDOOR TRIATHLON is a series of cup triathlon competitions held indoors. The peculiar feature is the absence of a precisely determined distance. The participants are to display their best results in the time given. Therefore, this format is suitable to both newcomers who are just getting into triathlon and experienced athletes for whom it is an opportunity to try their best. Each of them will receive a Medal of Honour at the end of the competition.

RELAY

Participants can go through all the stages individually or as part of a relay team. Make your own team of three to distribute the triathlon courses between you. All the relay participants start simultaneously.

AWARDS

At the end of each start, the athletes will be awarded points according to their place in the overall rating. On April 14 the IRONSTAR & WORLD CLASS INDOOR TRIATHLON SERIES FINAL will be held with the medal ceremony for the athletes and the teams having gained maximum scores. The main prizes will include World Class membership and IRONSTAR competition slots.

The competitions are open to everyone, regardless of their membership with the World Class Fitness-Club Chain.

COMPETITION FORMAT

Individual athletes

10-minute swim in the swimming pool (25 meters)
Transition — 1: 5 minutes
30 minutes on a cycling machine
Transition — 2: 5 minutes
20-minute run on the indoor track

Relay teams

30-minute swim in the swimming pool (25 meters)
30 minutes on a cycling machine
30-minute run on the indoor track

All relay team-members are to start simultaneously.
