22 triathletes have taken part in the competitions. Anastasia Zubkova led the women’s race and ranked first; in the men’s race, the one who took first place was Sergey Korobov. There was only one relay team this time (Denis Batalov, Dmitry Belyaev, Igor Bardin) – but what a team! The guys have shown the best results in swimming and running!
Denis Batalov from Nizhny Novgorod became a first paratriathlete to take part in IRONSTAR INDOOR TRIATHLON. He set a new record – 825 metres in 10 minutes of swimming in a 25-metre pool.

Our guest sportsman, Stepan Vakhmin, IRONSTAR 113 SOCHI 2015 champion, a titled triathlete and coach, has accompanied the sportsmen from the starting line to the finish.
“It was very interesting for me to see how the competitions are being held, particularly because I myself took part in INDOOR-triathlon several years ago. I have really enjoyed the atmosphere – people are so energetic! Watching them has made me want to participate, too. Perhaps, in a couple of months, I will do so”, — said Stepan.
