Important news about the rules of the competition!
We introduce new category of participants — "elite".
This new category rule is to be launched from the first races of the season IRONSTAR 2019 — 113 & SPRINT on June 1st.
Why do we launch “elite” start option?
1. For strong athletes: to have an opportunity to start in a priority and compete in a close race.
2. For live broadcast viewers: to watch the competition leaders, while it is easier to track them.
3. For organizing commette: to test the option of a possible future launch of Pro athletes start.
"Elite" athetes start separately, in the first wave, a mass start out of the water. Gun time.
"Elite" and Age Group athletes compete on equal terms and compete for prizes in the absolute and Age categories. For all participants, including the "elite", there will be one joint medal ceremony.
To get into the "elite" group, you need to confirm your result demonstrating your athletic performance.
The criterion is the result at one of the distances:
- On full ironman (226)
F – 12:40 and faster
- On half-ironman 113 (70.3):
Male — 4:30 and faster
Female — 5:30 and faster
- On olympic distance
М – 2:15 and faster
F – 2:30 and faster
- ·On the sprint distance:
Male — 1:15 and faster
Female — 1:30 and faster
