For the first time in Russia a unique format SUPERSPRINT on elimination. Suitable for beginners in triathlon and experienced amateurs, to show your most explosive qualities and reach the final of the strongest. Which round you reach depends ONLY on you!
Participants will have 250 meters of swimming, 5 km of cycling and 1.5 km of running.
ABOUT THE START
QUALIFYING ROUND: 1 lap (250 m swimming + 5 km cycling + 1,5 km running)
Swimming stage:
Masstart start in Elite category
Rolling start for age groups
According to the results of the qualifying round:
80 best men and 80 best women by time get to the semifinals
winners in the category “Elite” on SUPERSPRINT distance are awarded (1-6 places)
winners in age categories are awarded (1-3 places)
In the following rounds all athletes continue to compete only in the absolute standings.
POLUFINALS: 1 male and 1 female in 1 round (250 m swimming + 5 km cycling + 1.5 km running)
ROLLING START: 30 best men and 30 best women get to the final
FINALS: 1 male and 1 female in 3 rounds (3x250 m swimming + 3x5 km cycling + 3x1.5 km running)
MASTART, the first 3 athletes at the finish line win
After each stage (segment) the last two competitors are eliminated fr om the competition.
TIME LIM IT
Time limit for SUPERSPRINT lap — 34 minutes:
Swim: 10 minutes
Cycling: 15 minutes
Running: 9 minutes
DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS
ORIGINALS of the following documents are required for admission to the start and receipt of the start package:

Passport

Medical certificate of admission to competitions (more details about the requirements for the certificate and a sample)

Medical insurance with included risks “triathlon” with a minimum coverage of 1 million rubles or a valid FTR license. The insurance can be taken out when registering for the start or after buying a slot in the My Competitions section of the personal cabinet

Power of Attorney, if the competitor has entrusted a third person to collect his/her start package. The recipient must have a full set of documents in hand to be allowed to start.
The power of attorney can be executed in two ways.
1. Electronic Power of Attorney.
In your personal cabinet check the box “Issue by power of attorney” and fill in the recipient's data. The recipient will tell you that he/she has an electronic power of attorney when presenting the documents at the registration desk.
Important! The electronic power of attorney does not work yet for receiving the relay team's start package. In this case, use the paper version.
2. Paper Power of Attorney
Print and fill out the sample. The recipient will present the power of attorney at the registration desk along with other documents.

Participants in the following categories are awarded with commemorative symbols:
Men and women who took 1-3 places in the Elite category.
Men and women who took 1-3 places in their age categories.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE OF SLOT:
Refund is made to the internal balance of personal account in the amount of 75% of the slot price. You cannot withdraw money from your personal cabinet. Funds from the internal balance can be used to purchase any slot on the site www.iron-star.com
Transfer of a slot to a third party is possible through myAlpari. More details in the FAQ section “Registration/Exchange.Refund”
The exchange, refund and slot transfer are closed simultaneously with the closing of registration — 16 days before the start.
