How the rating score is calculated

The ALL STARS rating depends on the total score gained for completing IRONSTAR triathlon competitions. The number of rating points that a triathlete gains for every start is determined by the distance of the race and time difference between the athlete and the race winner.

The formula of counting points for every IRONSTAR start is as follows: max score for the distance – time difference in minutes х difference penalty = IRONSTAR start points.

For example, if you took part in IRONSTAR 113 KAZAN start and won the 2nd place and the difference between you and the winner was 2 minutes, your rating score is (3500-2х16)= 3468.

It is important to remember that the position in the rating depends on both the result of the race and the number of races an athlete has taken part in.
