On June 5, join us for the SWIMSTAR 1 Mile (1.852 km) open-water swim in Voronezh.
ABOUT THE RACE
SWIMSTAR is a series of open-water swimming races held as part of IRONSTAR sports festivals. Both recreational and experienced swimmers take part — anyone ready to swap the pool lane for open water and challenge themselves over a real race distance.
For those who have outgrown the pool.
Open water brings a new sense of space, distance and adventure to your regular training. There is no wall to turn at — just an exciting course ahead and a finish line waiting for you.
For those who miss the thrill of competition.
Whether you trained at a sports school or simply have years of swimming experience, SWIMSTAR is a chance to feel the excitement of racing again. Participation in IRONSTAR events also earns ranking points. Find out more on the ALL STARS ranking page.
For those who want to combine sport and travel.
IRONSTAR festivals take place in different cities and countries. Turn your race into a sports weekend: complete the distance, explore local attractions and discover a new city.
LOCATION
Participants will race in open water at one of IRONSTAR’s key festival locations. The start area is located near Petrovskaya Embankment and the Goto Predestinatsia museum ship, keeping athletes and spectators right at the heart of the festival throughout the day.
The convenient location makes it easy to combine the race with the festival programme, sightseeing and post-finish relaxation. Voronezh is easily accessible from Moscow and other regions, while major hotels, restaurants and city infrastructure are located close to the start area.
